Summary
The SQL Developer is responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, development, implementation & support of Microsoft SQL Server objects & scripts. The candidate will leverage their experience to bring new applications online and modernize legacy ones.
Responsibilities
- Deliver & maintain SQL Server-based solutions for project teams
- Make modifications & enhancements to existing applications for error correction, updates and to improve overall function & performance
- Plan, coordinate & manage migration of legacy SQL Server data objects
- Oversee SQL Server support, monitoring & scheduling for enterprise
- Develop a working relationship with stakeholders to support the design & implementation of new solutions that leverage SQL Server objects
- Interpret business requirements to design, build & test processes that ensure high quality data & optimal system performance
Requirements
- Experience w/standard Microsoft SQL Server operations (i.e. design schema, create relational databases & tables, modify & run stored procedures)
- 4+ years of experience developing in SQL (i.e. queries, stored procedures)
- Experience in C# and/or VB
- Scripting experience with VB script and/or PowerShell
