Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Summary:

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing Microsoft enterprise services and network infrastructure environments. This individual will administer and maintain cloud resources, servers, and networks across the organization and work closely with external resources. Expertise in Microsoft administration tools suite and desktop productivity is required, as well as the desire to learn and expand in the cybersecurity domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Servers, Office 365, AD, Azure, etc.
  • Diagnose and resolve network and system-related issues
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation as it relates to server and network infrastructure
  • Lead Disaster Recovery and Incident Response best practices and procedures
  • Implement monitoring tools to identify issues and respond to issues

Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role managing systems and network infrastructures
  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft administration (365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Defender, Co-pilot, Windows 11)
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Entra(AD); Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and other network services is a plus
  • Experience with any of the following is a bonus: Zscaler, Zero Trace, Darktrace, Fortinet firewalls, Dell hardware, and Cisco/Meraki hardware
  • Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V and Docker
